A group of Year 12 students attended a Medical Physics Day at Swansea University and Singleton Hospital last week.
The day involved the students attending a number of workshops to learn more about careers in Medical Physics, including radiography and medical engineering. The students were able to meet staff working in these fields and take part in hands-on activities, such as examining CT scans. The day was an excellent opportunity for students to learn about the variety of careers available in healthcare and routes into these jobs. All those who attended agreed the day was very worthwhile and was helpful in identifying future careers options.
