Year 12 students from Bishop Vaughan School visited Cambridge University over the Easter holidays as part of the HE+ programme.
HE+ is part of the Welsh Assembly Government’s Seren Network and offers support and guidance to the most able students in Swansea. HE+ organised a residential visit to Churchill College in Cambridge and 11 students were lucky enough to be selected to attend.
During their visit, the students attended subject open days at Churchill College, as well as visiting a number of other colleges to get a taste of life at Cambridge. Students also had free time to explore Cambridge, particularly its many museums and bookshops.
The students thoroughly enjoyed the visit and agreed that it was very useful. The school thanks HE+ for giving our pupils this opportunity.
