A group of BVS sixth formers attended a Law conference at Swansea University yesterday.
The trip was part of the school’s wider programme of events and opportunities to support pupils with university aspirations. During the day, pupils attended a number of Law seminars on a range of topics including sports law and miscarriages of justice, as well as a fascinating lecture on Roman law, which helped to place the subject in its historical context.
The day offered pupils a chance to consider the range of Law careers available as well as an opportunity to develop the supercurricular knowledge for a successful university application. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the day and agreed it was an excellent opportunity to learn about Law.
