World Book Day: My Favourite Book Part 2

To celebrate World Book Day on Thursday 2nd March, Bishop Vaughan School’s roving reporter, Amelia Reynolds, has been interviewing staff to find out what their favourite books are. She will be uploading articles throughout the week so keep checking back for updates. Today, she interviewed Miss Crabb:

What is your favourite book and why?

The Harry Potter series, specifically the Prisoner of Azkaban. They are my favourite as they got me back into reading when I was turning 11 years old and just starting secondary school. The books just took me into another world which was amazing and I’m still totally immersed in.

Why would you recommend this book to others?

I would recommend the books to others just because they are so well written and there are so many aspects to the world JK Rowling creates that you can get involved in.

What is your favourite quote in the books?

I don’t think I have a favourite quote! I love the books and how they are written so I don’t think I can narrow it down to just one sentence.
