The cashless system will be going live on Wednesday 14th September, so please ensure your child pays for their lunch in the usual way and all free school meal children will be given dinner tickets up until this date.
Year 7 pupils will receive an information pack which contains 2 consent forms and a data collection sheet on Monday 5th September please ensure this form is returned to the school no later than Wednesday 7th September as we will then have to capture their fingerprint to ensure they can be registered on the system
If you do not want your child to be biometric registered you can opt for a 4 digit PIN code which is the responsibility of your child and this can be inputted at the various tills located in the school when they take their lunch.
Letters for ParentPay accounts which includes an activation code for you to register will be sent out early next week in readiness for the live date of the 14th September.
PLEASE ENSURE YOU REGISTER FOR YOUR ACCOUNT AS YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ADD MONEY ONTO YOUR CHILD’S ACCOUNT FOR THEM TO HAVE LUNCH.
If you do not wish to ‘top-up’ the account via ParentPay you can give your child money and they can add funds to their account in school by visiting the revaluation units in the dinner halls BUT they will still need a PIN Number or a fingerprint recognition to do this.
