The Young Writers’ Squad met at the Dylan Thomas Centre on Saturday. After a tour ‘behind the scenes’ they had a lot of fun handling newly acquired objects for the Dylan Thomas Exhibition. They then faced a real challenge to write the main text panels that will accompany the exhibits. Writing within a limit of only 60 words is not as easy as it sounds. This month’s session was part of the ‘Kids in Museums’ project which is giving youngsters a say in the running of our museums. A fun morning all round for everyone involved!
