Bishop Vaughan has entered into an exciting and innovative partnership with Swansea University to help stretch and challenge our pupils, as well as prepare them for their future university careers. Lecturing staff and students from Swansea University will be holding regular subject masterclasses and careers talks at Bishop Vaughan. The masterclasses will help our pupils develop a depth of knowledge about a wide range of topics outside of the school curriculum. Careers talks, meanwhile, will help pupils plan for their futures by identifying potential careers and entry requirements.
The programme begins on Wednesday 25th November with an Engineering Careers talk from the University’s Bruce Rogers. The full programme is listed below and we hope to add more sessions in the future. All pupils in Years 10-13 are welcome to attend. The masterclasses and talks will be held in C1 and start at 1.40pm.
