'Space to Earth' Sports Event

Bishop Vaughan will be hosting The Triathlon Trust’s Space to Earth Challenge project on Tuesday 19th April.

This exciting event is supported by the UK Space Agency and British Astronaut Tim Peake, who is challenging school children to swim, bike or run the 400km distance from Earth to the International Space Station and train with him while he is in Space.

The Triathlon Trust will be providing bikes and turbo trainers for pupils and staff to use with the aim of working together to cover the distance by the end of the day.

Pupils who have PE lessons on Tuesday will be participating. However, if any other pupils (or staff!) wish to take part, please see Mrs Hamer or Miss Siddika to sign up and receive a time slot.
