BVS Pupils Take Part in the Space to Earth Challenge

Last week, BVS pupils took part in the Triathlon Trust’s Space to Earth Challenge. The Challenge was set by Tim Peake, the British astronaut currently on board the International Space Station. He challenged school children to collectively cycle or run the 400km distance between Earth and the ISS. The Triathlon Trust brought in turbo bikes and set up a running course around the school. Throughout the day, pupils and staff participated in the challenge. By the end, BVS had covered a total distance on 1300km – the highest of any school in Swansea!

Pupils thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and our visitors all commented on the enthusiasm and motivation of our pupils. Well done to all who took part!
