Swansea University Law School has been delivering a series of workshops to Year 9 students at Bishop Vaughan School.
The Street Law initiative is a legal education programme that informs young people about the law and legal systems. The programme is being delivered to students in Year 9, who are learning about the mechanisms involved in forming laws locally.
The sessions are being delivered by Law students from Swansea University, ensuring that BVS students are accessing the latest infomation and knowledge from one of the top Law schools in the UK. Swansea University students will be working with BVS students over the next month to develop their legal knowledge and understanding.
The programme is a fantastic opportunity for students and initial feedback has been very positive. The Year 9 students involved are looking forward to their next session and are eager to learn more.
