The Year 12 Government and Politics class held a series of events in school to mark Parliament Week 2019.
The Politics students arranged a lunchtime activities throughout the week to develop knowledge and understanding of how Parliament works amongst their peers. There were a range of games and challenges, such as identifying MPs and finding out the differences between the Houses of Commons and the Lords. The Politics students and teachers were on hand to explain key concepts, answer questions and give prizes to those who successfully completed the challenges. It was a busy week, with large numbers attending each event. Feedback from attendees was positive, with all agreeing that their understanding of Parliament had increased.
