In February we will be marking National Safer Internet Day with a range of activities and events to raise awareness amongst our pupils about the importance of keeping safe online.
In recognition of the unique challenges facing young people, parents and carers in this arena, we are extending a warm invitation to all parents and carers to attend an Online Safety Information Evening in Bishop Vaughan Catholic School. The session will be jointly hosted by school staff and PC Ken Bowen, our School Liaison Officer from South Wales Police. It will be an opportunity to provide practical advice and safety tips to help parents and carers manage online safety issues. The Session will be on Wednesday 8th February at 4pm and will last for approximately one hour.
If you are interested in attending the event please return the slip from the letter sent home with our pupils last week or contact the school office for further information. We look forward to seeing you there.
