Daniel Minister, a former student at BVS who went on to study at Oxford University, returned to the school to talk to pupils about his experiences there.
Daniel studied Modern History and Politics and is about to begin an MPhil in American History at Cambridge University. He offered advice to current sixth formers on how to prepare and apply for Oxford and Cambridge, as well as answering questions on a range of matters including finance, social opportunities and workload.
The pupils valued the opportunity to hear a first hand account of the application process. Daniel also offered to hold interview preparation sessions for this year’s Oxbridge applicants, which the school greatly appreciates.
