A member of Bishop Vaughan’s Sixth Form Leadership team has been selected to represent Britain at an international summer camp in China.
Lauren, a Year 12 student, is currently in Wuhan, the largest city in central China. She is one of two teenagers from Britain who are attending the Wuhan International City Cultural Summer Camp, along with students from France, Germany, Sweden and Hungary. She will be participating in a number of cultural exchange activities over the next three weeks.
Lauren is interested in international law and politics and was thrilled to be selected: ‘I am very excited to go to China and represent the UK. It will be a fantastic opportunity to learn more about other countries, not just China, as I will be meeting students from so many other countries.’
