BVS Students To Attend Sutton Trust Summer Schools

Six students in Bishop Vaughan Sixth Form have won places on the highly sought-after Sutton Trust Summer Schools.

The Sutton Trust is an educational charity that runs annual subject summer schools at top universities across the UK. Thousands of students applied in a rigorous process. The achievement of our pupils is highly impressive in this context, particularly as some courses offered as few as one hundred places to over a thousand applicants.

The following pupils will be attending the summer schools for these subjects:

Ira – Pharmacy at Kings College London

Hollie – Theology at Cambridge University

Emma – Physics and Economics at St Andrews University

Alys – Chemistry at Durham

Maricci and Jolia – Biomedicine at Bristol University

Congratulations to all six of our students!
