HE+ at Bishop Vaughan Sixth Form

Sixth formers from Bishop Vaughan School have been participating in the HE+ scheme for the past 5 months. The scheme is run by Cambridge University and offers high achieving A Level students the opportunity to attend specialist masterclasses on a range of subjects, including Medicine, Chemistry, History and Literature. BVS staff have also contributed to the scheme, with teachers delivering masterclasses at Gower College to Year 12 students from across the city. A number of pupils are also attending a Masterclass Day in March in order to receive lectures from Cambridge University staff who are travelling to Swansea specifically for this event. The HE+ scheme is an excellent opportunity for pupils and is a huge asset to students when making university applications in Year 13.
