Bishop Vaughan is a Voluntary Aided School for students aged 11-18, in the Catholic Diocese of Menevia and the City and County of Swansea.  It was established to provide secondary education for Catholics in Swansea and its environs.  We are pleased  to receive applications from families outside the Catholic sector who feel they can support and contribute to the church school ethos.

Though a large school, we aim to know our students well and look after them, not just in Year 7, but as they mature and develop in what we hope will be a seven year programme to the end of the Sixth Form. We offer education in disciplined, moral context. The worship of God and practical concern for others is central. Students are expected to work hard and take seriously their own academic progress. We offer a range of sporting and cultural activities. We expect and encourage students to give of their best and achieve high standards. In our view effort is at least as important as ability.
